ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Our region is home to many wonderful museums, science-based organizations, theater companies, and musical programs that provide unique enrichment experiences to classrooms and schools. These programs offer a wonderful way for our rural students to experience people and ideas that are not found in our local community. Often, these programs are fun, educational and open to many students. We seek to support the ongoing inclusion of these enrichment activities into the school year. In the past, we have funded visits from or students traveling to:

• Oregon Museum of Science and Industry
• Shakespeare-in-the-Schools - Utah Shakespearean Festival
• Idaho State University - Physics Department
• Space Camp®
