Our schools are funded through tax dollars, in particular, yours! This is taken seriously by both the school leadership and TVEF. However, an excellent school system is always the result of an entire community working together to achieve the vision of excellence. We believe the only way to work together is to learn together. We offer several ideas for how to learn what is happening in our schools and stay informed as the educational landscape evolves, both locally and nationally.

Take a Tour of a School
Our schools are open to the public. If you would like to take a tour of any school to see learning in action, please give us a call. We'd love to be your guide!
Shadow a VIPS (School Volunteer)
On any given day, in any given week, TVEF will have a volunteer going into a school and working with students, teachers and/or staff. To learn more about our volunteer program, we invite you to tag along with one of our volunteers and learn about the magic of giving students your time and energy.
Attend a School Board Meeting
The Teton School District #401 holds monthly board meetings on the second Monday of the month.
Host an Education@Home Party
Communities grow through dialogue about things that matter, like education. You can help Teton County grow by hosting a party in your home at which the guests have the opportunity to talk about their concerns, ideas and questions about our educational system. TVEF will facilitate this dialogue for you and, if requested, share the key topics with school leadership. All you have to do is provide the house and refreshments.
